Overwhelmed... but in a Good Way

Nothing will work unless you do

I might just tear my head off if one more person asks me about my plans after graduation.

The idea of graduating is scary enough; I doubt I need everyone around me to keep reinforcing that I apparently have no clue what I want to do or how I am going to move forward. For instance, whenever I find myself overthinking about what my next step might be, I start to feel sad and say things like:

Why dont I know what I want to do?

Why isn't it as easy for me as it is for the rest of my peers?

Why am I not getting the same opportunities as everyone else?

These questions aren't helping either and usually leads me to thoughts like these plaguing my mind constantly. However, what I have realized is that regardless of the overwhelming questions and the looming idea that is, life after graduation... one thing is sure. I am graduating, and to whatever comes next, I am sure I can handle you...be it the workforce or graduate school or even law school.

So yes, yes I am overwhelmed, and sometimes I might have a couple of panic attacks, but I am also excited and nervous and hopeful for the emotional rollercoaster that 2018 is about to be. So cheers to new milestones and new adventures.
