Lord! It has been a minute since I wrote a fashion post and honestly I missed writing about some of my outfit choices. This post is pretty special to me because I wore this dress for my college graduation and it still one of my biggest achievements ever.
For those of you who have been following me for awhile, you would remember that most of my African styles are sewn by my tailor/designer back home in Nigeria. I have never met this woman but she always seems to awe me by how perfect the styles are once I get them!
I really wanted something special for graduation that reminded me of the true queen that I am and this outfit did just that. The funniest part is, I didn’t even think it would fit or it would get to me in time! You guys, this dress came a day before my graduation and fit like a glove! I am obsessed with the styling and details and I hope you love it as much as I do. Keep scrolling to discover why everyone should definitely try African styles.
Styling this was pretty easy. Classic nude heels and a gold bracelet were all I needed to bring the whole look together. I also enjoyed the frills at the end of the dress, I definitely could not stand still!
